Last week marked a milestone for Singapore's 60 years of independence and a personal one I am humbled to share.
I have been featured in Singapore’s Most Celebrated 60 Speakers & Trainers, a showcase honouring voices shaping our nation’s next chapter.
This SG60 Singapore finance leadership clarity recognition is more than a personal achievement. It reflects the work of many who share the belief that finance should be clear, human, and empowering for leaders everywhere.

Seeing my story printed in the commemorative SG60 book is more than an honour.
It is a reminder of a journey that began with no roadmap, only a belief that finance could be clear, human, and worth engaging with.
In the early days I was not sure if my message would be heard. I did not know if leaders would embrace a different way of talking about finance.
But there were people who believed in me before the results were visible. Their encouragement gave me the courage to keep going, even when the path ahead was uncertain.
Over the years I have had the privilege of working with leaders and teams across industries, from Singapore to over 30 countries.
I have seen the breakthrough moments when finance stops being a barrier and becomes a bridge. When numbers are no longer intimidating, but empowering.
From National Celebration to Global: SG60 Singapore Finance Leadership Clarity
As I turned the pages of my SG60 feature, I thought about the leaders I have met who took a chance on learning finance in a new way.
The teams who found clarity where there was once confusion. The organisations that recognised finance is not just about numbers, but about making better decisions, building alignment, and leading with impact.
SG60 is a celebration of national progress, but it is also a celebration of possibility.
It is a reminder that what we build here can serve the world. The clarity and confidence we nurture in our own leaders can ripple outwards to leaders everywhere.
Why This Matters for You
As Once Upon a Balance Sheet moves closer to launch, the focus is on creating a shared resource for leaders who want clarity and confidence in decision-making. Your involvement can:
Equip your circle – Share the message so more people have tools and stories that make finance easier to understand and apply.
Strengthen leadership conversations – Spark discussions that turn financial data into actionable insight, building trust and alignment.
Shape a culture of clarity – The more people understand the numbers, the stronger the decisions they can make for their teams, organisations, and communities.
Amplify each individual's financial voice – Help ensure that clarity and capability reach leaders in every corner of the world.
Leave a legacy – When leaders lead well, they create ripples of positive change that last.
To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you.
Thank you for trusting me to make finance human, for believing that clarity matters, and for welcoming my voice into this chapter of Singapore’s story and in countries I have been privileged to serve.
