Balance Sheet Night – Once Upon a Balance Sheet Launch

I’m still taking in everything from this evening.

People showed up in force, and the room was filled. We had a full house, plenty of interaction, laughter, and strong participation from everyone. It turned into a genuinely memorable night — and I’m grateful for every bit of support.

Celebrating the book launch of Once Upon a Balance Sheet with a full house of friends, supporters, and readers — a night filled with joy, learning, and the debut of Count Jargon®.

What many people don’t know is that Once Upon a Balance Sheet almost didn’t make it here.

My original publisher went bankrupt halfway through the journey, and for close to two years the project was stuck. There were moments when it felt like the book would never see daylight — that everything I had written might simply stay inside a folder on my computer.

Finally seeing the book come to life, surrounded by a room full of people, carried a meaning that was hard to describe.

Why Balance Sheet Night Matters

Balance Sheet Night wasn’t just a launch event. It was the first time the book could do what it was designed for — helping people who don’t see themselves as “finance people” make sense of the numbers in their world.

Finance already has many excellent technical guides. This book focuses on something different — helping people develop financial clarity in a way that feels natural, story-driven, and engaging.
